New iPod speakers: Ladybugs & Butterflies
Written by admin on January 15th, 2008 in Gadgets.

As much as I appreciate modern, sleek, silver-black-white, chrome-colored designs, I’m a sucker for items that can reflect the quirkiness of my own style. While I love my Bose iPod speaker system, they’re going to have to scoot over to share the shelf with one of Vestalife’s Ladybug or Butterfly iPod speaker systems.

Both designs reflect elements of nature and exude playfulness that both younger and more mature consumers can appreciate alike.
Ladybug features speaker “wings” that flip out to reveal iPod-based entertainment system
Butterfly features four interchangable, colored front panels for changing moods, rooms, and future iPod color palettes.
Features for both include:
* Portable (comes with carrying bag)
* Built-in rear-facing channel sub-woofer for big bass
* Digital amplifier
* Metallic soft-touch finish
* Auxiliary input for non-docking iPod, CD players, & other MP3 players
* Remote control (full function)
* USB (for synching)
* AV out for video output
* AC/Battery (4AA) operated
For more information visit Vestalife.com
Prices: $110-$125 (available for sale soon) (via iLounge).
