Dell releases more info on the highly anticipated Latitude series
Here at Gadgetell, as I am sure you do also, love to see information leaked early, this time it involves Dell’s highly anticipated Latitude series. What we have learned are some more details involving two new E-Series models, the E6500 and the E6400. The E6500 is the more advanced of the two, and it begins with a 15.4-inch screen as opposed to the E6400’s 14.1-inch. Interestingly enough, these two laptops are set to replace the D830 and the D630. The E6500 comes with UWB, Bluetooth 2.1, and mobile broadband. One of the best features is this laptop comes with integrated GPS, which is a rarity still in many laptops on the market today. Transcend releases the rugged, shock-resistant StoreJet 25 portable hard drive
Transcend has added a new portable hard drive in its arsenal of data storage products – the shock resistant StoreJet 25 mobile. For a hard drive to be called portable, it must not only be small in size but light weight, high capacity and well protected. This is exemplified by Trascend’s newest portable hard drive, the StoreJet25 mobile. Just by looking at the release photos of the StoreJet 25 mobile alone, you’d immediately notice its durability specifically if you noticed the extra-rugged silicon case that is covering the StoreJet 25. Make no mistake though, the rugged feature is not all for aesthetic purpose but it serves as a proofing for the StoreJet 25 mobile. Samsung 53 Series | 953BW, 2053BW, 2253LW, 253BW

Samsung 53 Series | 953BW, 2053BW, 2253LW, 253BW
I normally only post about HDTVs and everything HD, which sometimes includes computer LCD monitors if they feature a HD resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels), but they brand new and amazing looking Samsung 53 series of monitors cough my attention, and I just had to write about them. Firstly, it seems as if Samsung have taken one of their great looking HDTVs, taken the design and shrunk it down for a computer monitor. I recently wrote about the equally impressive Samsung 2493HM / 2693HM, which have received a lot of attention, but are also larger, and more costly than the new Samsung Syncmaster 53 series. The new Samsung 53 series SyncMasters consist of four thin black gloss frame models. (Read the full post about ‘Samsung 53 Series | 953BW, 2053BW, 2253LW, 253BW’…)

The US Postal Service is advocating the recycling of electronic products, such as mobile phones and inkjet cartridges to name a few. If you’re sick and tired of your broken iPods you may put them in an envelope provided by the USPS and send those electronics via snail mail. The envelope will be provided by the USPS and will be strategically placed in 1500 post offices across the US. (Read the full post about ‘Who says snail mail is dead? Kiss Me Phone

Kiss Me Phone

There is nothing quite like a red hot pair of lips to get your blood coursing through your veins, and this Kiss Me Phone is more than able to cause that effect in any hot-blooded male at first glance. Hard-wired phones seem to have moved from essential to retro in virtually no time at all, and this landline phone cleverly disguised as a sexy pair of lips is no exception - indeed it’s more of an objet d’art than a phone. Nevertheless it’s still irresistible. Whether you’re a lothario or a vamp, or just into retro kitsch, the Kiss Me Phone is a piece of kit that pushes all the buttons, in a manner of speaking. Bowl prevents soggy cereal syndrome

Bowl prevents soggy cereal syndrome
If you’re one of the many folks in the world who likes their cereal crunchy, and doesn’t like it getting soggy, but constantly pouring milk into the bowl a little bit at a time is a pain, then you need the EatMeCrunchy bowl. It’s pretty simple as these “why didn’t i think of it” inventions usually are - it’s a shelf that sits in a bowl that covers about 70% of the base, so that your milk sits in the bottom and your dry (and still crunchy) cereal sits on the shelf just waiting for you to push it into the milk for the right amount of mixing. The shelf is removable and both bowl and shelf are dishwasher safe. (Read the full post about ‘Bowl prevents soggy cereal syndrome’…)

LG’s take on an iPhone killer: LG LH2300 Touch Web phone
Although it might be a bit late, LG believes it’s better than never, and offers a touch screen equipped web browsing-centric phone called the LG LH2300 Touch Web phone for the Korea market. The name actually says it all. “Touch,” as in it has a 3-inch, 800 x 480 pixel, 26 million color, touch sensitive display that’s produced by Sharp. “Web,” as in it should offer unparalleled web browsing experience on a handheld, as if that was unheard of before. And “phone,” as in it’s a regular mobile phone that you can use to send short text messages and make choppy voice calls. It’s slated for an April 2008 release date and will cost around $600 USD.
