Dell to release a semi-rugged Latitude E6400?

This may be just another rumor here, but it looks like Dell is set to to make a semi-rugged version of the Dell Latitude E6400. If the standard Latitude E6400 doesn’t excite enough, then I guess the semi-rugged version which is reportedly to be shock-proof, spill-proof, dust-proof, and altitude and humidity resistant will be enough to make us wait patiently before upgrading to a new laptop.
The upgraded version of the still-yet-to-be announced E6400 is said to run on Centrino 2 processor and will sport 14.1-inch WXGA display with your choice of either a high brightness 750cd/m2 or a 650cd/m2 touchscreen display. The laptop will also come with covered DisplayPorts, UWB, Intel UMA graphics, and built-in GPS. The Latitude E6400 ATG will feature a removable shock-mounted hard drive.
Now my question is: When will Dell cease the rumors and just officially do an announcement? Don’t keep us waiting for so long…
