Keepin’ it real fake, part CXVIII: iPhone on the farm
by Darren Murph, posted May 1st 2008 at 3:18PM Yeah, we too are hoping that these overseas impostors will have to start changing up their game if they still want to ape the iphone in just a few months, but as it stands, the Toggolino Phone actually does a fantastic job of shaming itself. Apparently this handset, er, device comes packaged with some form of German kit meant to teach kinder a few things about words, animals and the equitable distribution of wealth throughout social classes. Samsung Soul Review

Samsung Soul Review
The Samsung Soul is the first mobile phone review I’ve done in a while, but I felt it deserved more coverage as it’s an intriguing mobile phone. Not only does it look stunning (which is a nice new trend that Samsung have managed to keep up throughout their entire Ultra range of mobile phones, of which the Soul is set to be the last), but it comes with some cracking features as well. The Samsung Soul is the flagship phone for Samsung for 2008, so you’d expect it to be feature-rich, but feature-rich and good looking? That takes some doing! The question is, how well do the features on the Samsung Soul work? Read on to find out with our comprehensive Samsung Soul review. Samsung Soul Review First up, the basics. Hard Disk Crusher Flattens HDDs Like Tin Cans

Hard Disk Crusher Flattens HDDs Like Tin Cans
Worried about the integrity and security of your pesonal data when it’s time to rid yourselves of them? Let the Hard Disk Crusher help you out. The device you see above is the Hard Disk Crusher device by EDR Solutions. The Hard Disk Crusher which weighs almost 6 stones can crush HDDs at the rate one per 10 seconds. It runs powered by electricity through a standard outlet and has the capacity to crush 100,000 hard disks without the need for servicing. The caveat: it costs 5,750. Of course, it could especially be useful for companies who want to protect their privacy, but as for me, I could always leave my old HDD in the middle of the road where a ten-wheeler could deliver and even more devastating end to it. CTL IL1 Netbook, just like the Eee PC, but it costs $50 less
While the Eee PC seems to have launched this ultra-portable race to see who could build the best and lowest priced ultra-portable. Since then we have seen more models than we can remember at this point, some good, some bad, some just plain copies of other models. Well CTL has just introduced the IL1 Netbook, a seemingly worthy competitor. Overall it is basically the Eee PC, spec wise, but has a nicer price tag at $350. The IL1 features a 7-inch LED-backlit display, along with a 1GHz Via processor, 1GB of RAM, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. Users will also have the option of either a 4GB SSD or a 60GB hard drive and it will run either Linux or Windows XP.
