Samsung’s Instinct to require the Sprint Everything plan, with SDK coming
Although we have previously learned that the Samsung Instinct will launch with Sprint on June 20, there has not been any announcement regarding the price, however at a recent live Webinar we were told that it will be “comparable with others in its class.” As far as the plan, the Instinct will require the Sprint Everything pricing plan which starts at $69.99 for 450 minutes and goes up to $99.99 for unlimited minutes. All of the Everything plans include unlimited messaging and data. The reasoning behind this rule is, according to Dan Hesse, the CEO of Sprint they want you to be able to “use your phone for all the great things it can do without worrying about the meter running.” Makes perfect sense to us. HP’s Voodoo team prepping something “beautiful” for June 10
by Paul Miller, posted Jun 2nd 2008 at 11:28AM Our stubborn pocket books and loved ones continue to chime in with a resounding “no” every time we start considering one of those fancy HP Blackbird 002 units, but that doesn’t mean HP isn’t on to something when it comes to fancy aesthetics and even fancier tech specs — all courtesy of that VoodooPC buy a while back. Now it appears HP has a big unveil set for June 10 that “could begin to establish the company as a provider of beautiful technology gear” according to a Fortune article on HP. Voodoo founder Rahul Sood likens Voodoo’s role as akin to Lamborghini within Audi, and has promised a “huge announcement” on his own blog. Automated Touchscreen Poker Table
Imagine if you and your buddies could all get together for a game of Texas Hold’em and not even require a physical deck of cards? Poker had a sort of a second or third-wind within the last few years with the popularity of online gambling and college frat boys who have too much time on their hands. This excellent (yet extremely expensive) X10 10 player Automated Poker Table might be the next-generation gadget of choice for casinos and wealthy poker fans. And when we say wealthy, we mean wealthy enough to shell out $30k for a high-tech poker table. The X10 comes with a set of ten 12.1” touchscreens, one for each player, while featuring a 27″ touchscreen in the center of the table which acts as the dealer and house hand display. Adobe offers up a word processor called Buzzword, a web conferencing application called ConnectNow, file sharing, an online desktop solution and of course an online PDF creator which is a scaled-down version of Adobe Acrobat. The PDF creator allows users to convert up to 5 files only. So, it pretty much serve as an appetizer to Adobe’s proprietary Acrobat software. In brief let us walk you through the different web applications that Adobe.com is offering. (Read the full post about ‘Adobe formally enters the online office suite market’…)

Sony Ericsson K810i Review - IT Reviews

Sony Ericsson K810i Review - IT Reviews
IT Reviews has a review of the Sony Ericsson K810i and writes, “The main camera sits on the back of the casing and is accompanied by a xenon flash. Xenon produces a more powerful flash than LED, so this camera performs that little bit better than its LED-toting counterparts when it comes to indoor photography. The lens is protected by a sliding cover and uncovering the lens starts the camera software running…The camera itself has a maximum resolution of 3.2 megapixels, and so is not up to the standards of the market-leading 5-megapixel camera-phones, but still it coped well during testing. There is a macro lens mode which we found to be perfectly serviceable, and image stabilisation can provide some assistance to those with shaky hands.” Read more about the Sony Ericsson K810.
