Zelda Fan? Check Out this Ocarina (For Real!)

Zelda Fan? Check Out this Ocarina (For Real!)
This is one of those times when your eyes light up in surprise. Not that the ocarina is something which cannot be reproduced in real life, but come on, if you’re a Zelda fan, it’s dream come true. I’m not a hardcore Zelda gamer, but I feel happy for everyone who is. After all, having an object from *inside* the game tangible and within one’s grasps is one of a gamer’s greatest dreams. This blue ocarina is a real playable intrument just like the one you see on the Zelda video game. Made from glazed earthenware, it has six holes with notes C4 to D5. And if you’re not naturally musically-inclined, it comes with a song book with notes for some Zelda tunes so you can take your obsessions to a whole new level. (Read the full post about ‘Zelda Fan? Just for the Smell of it: Scent-Emitting LCD Displays
Every time I go to a city by a bay, like San Francisco or Seattle, I am completely saturated by an array of scents. They wash over me like multiple waves from the high-priced restaurants with views of the water, and I am compelled to shell out my money for expensive food. A Japanese company known as Recruit Co Ltd. has found a way to follow their nose to make people some money by using special displays. These unique advertising devices, developed by NTT Communications Corporation, have a 42-inch LCD display that not only show food, but emit mouth-watering aromas. I’m sure you see the idea. Potential customers are baited by the smells, they approach the display, and they are hooked. (Read the full post about ‘Just for the Smell of it: Scent-Emitting LCD Displays’…)

Vonage getting a new CEO, with more cash coming
After what seemed like an endless supply of bad news for Vonage, they seemingly disappeared for a while and that may have been a good thing. Vonage seems to have dropped off the radar for a while, but the return of news seems to be of the positive form. An announcement is expected to come early this week naming a new CEO, and in addition Vonage has also announced that they entered into a “commitment letter” to receive some much needed funding. It looks like Silver Point Finance LLC will be offering up as much as $215 million which will help to keep Vonage afloat. Read [WSJ] Via [Engadget] Keep up with the latest gadget goodness! Dark Knight Bat-Logo calls no one

Dark Knight Bat-Logo calls no one
Every once in a while, some product comes out that looks good and is available for order, but there is very little information available about it. This leads potential customers to doubt its validity. Such is the case for The Dark Knight Bat-Logo Project Key Ring. This product is exactly what it sounds like, a key ring that can project the bat-signal on the wall. Unfortunately, there isn’t really a good demonstration of this product, except what you see here in this picture. Too bad there isn’t a YouTube video on the site, but the only video I see is a preview of The Dark Knight. Many blogs have reported on this suspicion, and many have also complained that it is the old bat-signal from before Christopher Nolan’s rebooted franchise. The USB 4-in-1 Webcam keeps all of your gadgetry together
If you have a serious thing for multiple gadgets in one when it comes to the things you place on your desk, this 4-in-1 webcam combines plenty of gadgetry.  It also has nice bendy arms to get each individual part in its perfect spot for your comfort.  There is a bit of a down side though, to get the microphone close enough to your mouth, the webcam would be broadcasting up your nose.  Which isn’t a huge deal, it just means if you want to use the microphone, you’ll have to flip off the webcam.
